BSNL stands as India's largest Telco and one of the largest Public Sector Undertaking of the country with authorized share capital of US$ 3.95 billion (INR 17,500 Crores) and net worth of an astounding US$ 14.32 billion.

Sinha is also credited with commissioning first C-400 type Japanese Telephone Exchange in Calcutta and Delhi. He successfully got installed many Analogue as well as Digital Telephone Exchanges in the country. Not only this, his reputation took him to Nigeria where he served as Principal Engineer Training. But despite all the success and applause, Sinha still remains a simple man whose steadfast conviction is - A man learns more amidst the dust of fields and ground than on his armchair. With his assuming top office the change in the BSNL could very well be felt.

The next generation services like DataOne, Wi-Fi, Wi-Max Forums is already in the process of implementation. It's people like Sinha who have been a great motivation for his colleague, which has helped it become the largest telecom company in South East Asia. Not only this, a recent survey adjudged BSNL as the Most Trusted Telecom Brand in India with its brand placed at 3rd position. And it will not be exaggeration to say that Sinha has played a seminal role in adding feathers to BSNL's cap.
